For 25 years, we have been operating a footwear retail business in the CBD of Hobart, Tasmania, in Australia. With our German and European brands we differ from the generally low quality brands offered elsewhere in Australia. Thus we have built a good name and reputation.
Some of our brands we buy directly from the European makers whilst for others we travel to a shoe fair in Melbourne (1h flight).
With some of our exclusive brands there would be opportunities for wholesale in AUS and NZ.
Further growth can be gained through online sales , which we have shied away from so far.
We employ 8 mostly part time employees who are very enthusiastic. A good work environment also translates through to the customers. Together with our bright and open sales floor this makes for a friendly atmosphere in shop and work place.
Hobart is a nice little harbour town with 200 000 inhabitants. It is the capital city of Tasmania and attracts la lot of tourists. The climate is pleasant and the people mostly friendly.
We are looking for energetic people to take over from here and take the business into the future.
Of course we are happy to work you in and introduce you to suppliers and everything important.
And why do we want to walk away from it now? When everything sounds so good.
