Collapse of peace deal in Colombia
Peace talks between the Colombian government and the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia or FARC) should have been concluded at the end of March. The deadline passed without a peace accord being signed and the government and the rebel group have failed to agree on important points. The safety situation is, therefore, very precarious. more
