As every year, the Soliswiss General Assembly took place in 2026. This year it was held slightly earlier than in previous years: on 28 April. On this relatively warm Tuesday afternoon, the forecast rain fortunately stayed away, allowing our members and guests to enjoy the guided tour of the Bern Bear Park without umbrellas. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to travel to Bern!
This year’s General Assembly took place, as in the previous year, at the Altes Tramdepot restaurant. The Chair of the Board and the Managing Director guided participants through the agenda with great commitment. For certain agenda items, the microphone was passed to Soliswiss staff members, allowing everyone to contribute and present their points. This was well received by our participants and added variety to the proceedings.
The Assembly approved all proposals put forward by the Board. Silvana Leutwiler and Oliver Schreier were newly elected to the Board. We wish them both a successful start and every success in this important role. Nicole Kuentz decided not to stand for re-election. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Nicole for her many years of service on the Soliswiss Board. The other Board members were re-elected for another term with excellent results. The auditors were once again unanimously appointed, with Engel Copera AG confirmed as in the previous year.
We would like to thank everyone who exercised their voting rights. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Board members for their great commitment and tireless dedication to our cooperative.
Following the official part, an apéritif was held, giving all attendees the opportunity to exchange in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Our sincere thanks also go to the team at the Altes Tramdepot for organising the event so successfully and for treating our participants to delicious pretzels and tarte flambée.
