Together with the media union SSM, the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA), Educationsuisse and other organisations, Soliswiss advocated against the withdrawal of funding for Swissinfo and the international mandate of the SRG.
After the Council of States, the National Council has now also decided not to abolish the funding of this important voice of Switzerland for Swiss citizens living abroad.
Soliswiss welcomes this decision. At this point we would like to thank all Soliswiss members and interested persons, as well as everyone who responded to the call and submitted their signature against the withdrawal of funding for Swissinfo and the international mandate of the SRG. Many thanks.
